Okay, yet another reason why Joss Whedon makes me so very happy. Here is the official link, the vid doesn't work outside of the USA, but here is what the brief is and I quote:

I wrote the beginnings of a new fanfic. Here you go:
Title - A Fallen Angel
Summary - Angel has been missing for three years. Buffy and company have spent ever resource and every possible Slayer in the effort to find Angel and bring him home. What's more disturbing about Angel's disappearence is he's not the only one: Fred, Gunn and Spike are all missing as well. When a solid lead finally comes through, Buffy discovers that everyone's memories have been altered and Angel's life has changed dramatically. What she finds is more than she can handle, but how can she and her team reverse what Wolfram & Hart has done and get Angel back before something happens?

12:00 pm - Bring on the wind...
So I am sitting here in my living room unable to go anywhere because my car is being fixed at the moment. Should have it back on Friday...depending how long it takes to get the head gasket (gasget????) fixed. Of course to pay for this I had to 'bleed' my account dry...so all I have left is my visa which of course I shouldn't use....so why is it that our parents never tell us that real life sucks???? Or maybe they do and we just don't pay attention??? I suppose that is my life and the lives of everyone else right now.
So fun times last week at work: the power went out! Yes, the power went out. And when the power goes out at the Home Depot it really goes. We went completely black for a good minute before the generators came on. We then had to be on generator power for about 2 hours before the store closed. Within the first 15 minutes of losing power I think I ran from one side of the store to the other with numerous till and computer problems before it calmed down. The parking lot was BLACK for at least 20 mintues before the generators were able to get half the lights up. After about an hour of generator power half the lights went out. Turns out it slowly goes down and down to save on energy and power. Also that night a rather large woman collapsed in the drywall aisle, she was diabetic and she had an attack, and broke her arm, shattered her wrist and hit her head good. The firemen were there, the paramedics and we only had 1 first aid person. There should be at least two....so the first aid associate is trying to get oxygen working, the MOD is on the phone, the cashier is calling 911...it was good times. That was an interesting night...I think it was Saturday night acutally. This whole work week has sucked major because I've had the worst schedule...but that is no over. Today off, work tomorrow, then two days off.
So the wind here is insane...I was just about to write this when the wind picked up and started assulting the house. I am so excited for so many things: new James Bond movie Friday; many new CDs that I want are now out, Jason saved my Toby Keith CD from my car!!!! (that was the best part of the day yesturday), Twilight comes out on next Friday (sorry Caitlin...), and CHRISTMAS IS COMING! Now all my friends know how much I LOVE decorating for Xmas. I bought this awesome deer for outside that lights up and so far the wind hasn't killed him, its come close but it still stands. I plan to put garland around my front door with lights (once I talk to my landlord about using a staple gun) and decorating the inside of my house is going to be a slight challenge because I don't have 4 large bookcases to support my garland/light/pinecone decoration. So, I have some thinking to do. My sister is coming fo Xmas which is AWESOME! Believe it or not, I miss her. Knowing you can see her whenever, when you live in the same town, you sure take for granted when you can't. Anyway, I have begun my Xmas decorating and I did some more cleaning and moved more stuff into storage so things are looking even better...
PS....DVD towers such a BAD idea! M&K I got rid of them...you know the towers you bought for yours??? I bought several of those...okay several is not a good way to put it...I bought 3: 2 were originally in the bathroom until I decided I hated the towers...so now 2 are used to hold my DVD collection. I am also planning on eliminating the CD tower...just going to ask for a rather large CD wallet for Xmas. You can say I told you so....

08:14 am - How long has it been??
Well hello in the land of LJ! Aparently it has been a while since I updated my life...and belive me much has happened. But in order to avoid a lengthy post it will be filled with numerous cuts and the like to avoid people going 'make your post smaller so it doesn't take up my friends page!' So where do I begin???
Well, 3 months ago I moved...like move moved. I used to live in Victoria and 3 months ago I moved back home to Kamloops. The move went reasonable well. It was a really long day and you should have seen the look on my cat's face, but we managed. We left Vic at like 6 in the morning (of course I was up at 4 or 5 cause I have to be several hours ahead of my dad in order to get out the door on time) and we made it into Kamloops around 3:30 or something like that. We then spent the next 2 hours, with my landlord and uncle and mom and mom's bf, dad, bev, me, melissa....unloading the very large truck full of my crap (second family...you know who you are...you know how much shit I have...). So after they unloaded my dad of course took off right away and didn't stick around much longer than putting my bed together...typical...and I spend the next little while with my mom organizing stuff. I finally finished at midnight or something. Long day. But my place is all unpacked now: kitchen, living room, bedroom, "office" (if you can even call it that). It was good.
What next...oh yes, the new job. Well not really new but old. I simply swtiched stores. I still work for the Home Depot as a head cashier. Of course when I get there I'm the only one who really knows what they are doing because all the other head cashiers are only a few months old or a few days old. Even the DS has a hard time with the front end policies and procedures, which is sad. We have one HC who nobody can stand because she thinks she knows everything and bosses people around (I'm sure there are people who think I am bossy right now, but come on? When I'm the only one who knows what to do, does that make me bossy?). Anyway, so this store is in a world of its own it really is. But I've gotten used to it and I LOVE my Ops ASM. She is so nice and always giving me new tasks to stretch my mind because the HC thing is starting to get a little repetative. I was recently made the new Sign captain at the store: basically I am in charge of signage and displays etc. I work with the Fulfillment ASM and DS...so it gets me off the front end sometimes which is nice.
What else can I talk about...well I still have no social life because a: I live way the heck out in Barnhartvale (which for Victorians is like living in Langford or Colwood...only with less stuff); b: my work schedule is all over the place and I have no idea what I'm working from one week to the next (which didn't change from the other store); c: I've always been social life challenged...sad eh? No boyfriend...however there might be a crush somewhere. Hmmmm, I suppose that is really my life in a 3 month nutshell...oh wait, I haven't discussed the car. We need a cut for that one...read on.

03:23 pm - Change can be good...
Well, it has been a while since I posted on this mode of expression. Well it has been 9 days into the new year and so far it has not been the greatest 2008. I told myself that I would not be bitter and angry this new year and so far all it has been is bitterness and anger. So, instead of feeling sorry for myself, which by the way, I'm really good at...I am going to leave it all behind. I really need to be happy with what I have. I mean I could be homeless on the streets instead of in my condo with my stuff...I could not have family who love me...so this stops now. I will just be happy with what I have...no need to be bitter about the way things are going and what other people do in their lives. Anyway, that is my resolution now, be happy with what I have.
I started hanging out with my good friend Holly again. It was nice seeing her and talking with her. It has been too long and I really should spend more time with her. So I believe that now every Thursday is our sort of day to chill out. Should be good. My house is a zoo, but when is it not? I am going home next month! Woot! My grandparents 50th wedding anniversary is on Feb. 17 and I am going to go! I wasn't sure if I would be able to but now I know that I will be able to go...reading week for university is that same week so I am going out on the 16th on the bus (10 hours...woot) and I will go home on the 22nd. That way I can get back and study for my exam on the Monday. Which I still will over the week but not a lot will get done, I suppose its a good thing that I have nothing due the week after for school. Anyway, no on knows I'm coming except my Aunt Sue who is conspiring with me to get me and possibly my sister there without my mom or grandparents knowing. I'm really excited. Anyway, other than my stupidity and the same old life I lead, nothing is new. TTFN.

These are two fics I wrote. They take place in season two after Angel has lost his soul. The first one is in Angelus' POV and the second is in Buffy's POV. I just recently wrote the Buffy side...I write to these ones when I personally am feeling slightly low. So they have a lot of how I feel at the time that I wrote them but they have to do with the characters pain and what they are going through. I hope you like them.
